Pital Pooja Plate With Gayatri Mantra

This symbolically rich designer brass puja plate is used for keeping puja items during puja. The puja items include Roli for tilak, Akshat, Ghanti (bell), a small Kalash filled with water, Kalava to tie around the wrist, aarti-diya and some colorful flowers. Make: Made in brass with OM and Gayatri mantra inscribed on it.

Gayatri Mantra with Om engravings embellished on plate from the house of Swayambhu. The presence of the embossing makes this piece more of a ceremonial decoration. It may be filled with offerings and placed at a temple in a home as a part of puja.

Puja plate is a tray or large container on which the entire puja materials are accumulated and decorated. In Hindu religious occasions, festivals, traditions and rituals, puja plate maintains an auspicious role.

Uses of plate in many occasions like in Diwali more than one diya might be arranged on plate; in Rakshabandhan for keeping rakhi with diya, bael-leaves, datura flowers are essential in plate for Mahashivratri festival. Thus in different occasions and festivals, puja plate decoration varies with importance of the rites.
